What to Expect
Your initial appointment will consist of taking any necessary radiographs (x-rays) and an Advanced Endodontic CBCT Image, diagnostic testing, and an examination with one of our endodontists. Your endodontist will discuss treatment options with you, and in many cases, we can proceed with immediate treatment. Following endodontic treatment, you will return to your referring dentist for the restorative procedure.
If your tooth has had previous root canal treatment, we may schedule another appointment for retreatment or endodontic surgery following the initial examination.
If you are in extreme pain, we will make every effort to relieve your pain through emergency endodontic treatment and schedule you for any necessary follow-up.
All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the examination appointment.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, etc.) or if you are on any medication (including heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, bisphosphonate and others).
